Different Game Modes

Experience different variants of Spades by playing in multiple game modes. Play alone or with a partner - it's up to you!

1. Solo: Bid on the number of tricks you expect to win during your turn.
2. Partner: Combine bids with your partner to achieve a higher score.
3. Suicide: Form teams of two. Bid either Nil or at least four tricks while your partner must bid the opposite.
4. Whiz: Team up and bid the exact number of spades in your hand or go Nil. Blind bidding is not allowed.
5. Mirror: Similar to Whiz, bid the number of spades in your hand. However, going Nil is only an option when you have no spades.
6. Board: Form teams of two. Bid at least four tricks or go Double Nil.

Basic Rules:

• Bid on the number of tricks you expect to win during your turn. Bidding "zero" is called "nil." In partnership Spades, the bids from both players on a team are combined.
• Follow the suit of the first card if possible; otherwise, you can play any card, including a trump Spade.
• You cannot lead with Spades until a Spade has been played to trump another trick.
• The player who plays the highest card of the led suit wins the trick. If trumps were played, the highest trump card wins instead.
• The player or team that reaches the exact number of bids wins the game.
